Be kind to yourself!

This week I want to make it a priority to create more space for myself. Taking more breaths can seem selfish but when you are not a priority you have to take care of shit yourself. With that being said, try to be intentional with how you view yourself and how you talk to yourself. Finding ways to feel good should be difficult. Struggling to discover what you enjoy, take time to get to know yourself again. How? Challenge! Use this as an opportunity to grow and embrace anything that has changed. Take it one day at a time and I’m sure you’ll fall in love with yourself all over again.

Staying connected.

In what ways.. signing up for new classes or creating opportunities to meet like minded people, let’s dive in. I canceled my gym membership and signed up for virtual classes lead by an amazing instructor up in New York. I chose the weekly pass to be more bang for my money, so far it’s been great. 4 times a week, 30 minutes sessions with people from all over the world. I will admit, I was a bit intimidated at first but took the opportunity and I’ve been loving it. I could use familiar apps to get my work out in but I really wanted to challenge myself and I am glad I did it. Sunday’s are reserved for life drawing, I’ve...

7 day challenge

Last week I challenged myself to write a blog post on anything I felt like writing with little to know changes. I’m proud to say I completed the challenge and that I am going to continue the challenge for an addition 7 days. This post will count as one for the next 7 days, reflection is such a crucial part of growth that to bypass lessons learned would be senseless. I’m always looking far into my future and rarely do I get opportunities to set short term goals and acknowledge those small victories. My message to you today is to try to give yourself a break.
