Put a finger on it

Happy Friday, cheers to the weekend! Highlight of my week would have to be completing everything I planned for the last five days. Celebrating the highs and the lows gives great appreciation to life. I’m so glad that I made it to work every day this week, encourage myself and those around me to meet our deadlines but most of all... I enjoyed almost every second of it. My weeks are far more enjoyable when I can visualize what I want to accomplish and how I plan to do it. An idea without a plan is simply a wish. Lately, I’ve been doing pretty good with hold myself accountable and it’s been a pleasure to see myself overcome daily challenges....

A part of you

Lately I have noticed an interest shown by my students on the significance of art..Oddly I never thought I would have to explain why art matters but in some aspect, art serve little to no purpose to them. When you invest your being into something greater than yourself, it’s almost painful to think of anything that would be more significant. A part of my interest in art comes from my willingness to submit to my weaknesses, share parts of myself that most would not or allow myself to experience life without the lense of doubt.
